Taman Mekar Beach Inn
This hotel offers a more well rounded trip to Bali than other Kuta Surf Camps can provide. Despite being only 10 minutes walk from the beach this property is in the heart of Kuta, just 800m from Kuta Square. Kuta Center and Kuta Art Market are also within walking distance, yet it’s proximity to the beach continues to attract surfers.
Surrounded by traditional Indonesian architecture is a central garden, overlooked by several private terraces. Here guests can enjoy a daily continental breakfast in peace, before a long day on the surf. Free parking, air conditioning and a 24-hour front desk are just some of the useful amenities Taman Mekar Beach Inn provides.
Guests can book a double room, with or without a fan. Alternatively a double room with twin beds can be reserved. Each is equipped with a desk, TV and private bathroom. Some units also have a balcony.
Pro Surf Camp Bali
Straddling the property are the famous Kuta Beach and Kuta shopping centre, 10 minutes walk in either direction. Unlike other Kuta Surf Camps, architecture and decor here is chic, modern and fun. This contributes to the laid-back, hostel vibe that so many look for in a surf destination.
The property is self sufficient, with it’s own restaurant, bar and outdoor pool. Guests are also free to make the most of the hostels tour desk, water sport facilities and shared lounge. Here visitors can socialise and meet like-minded individuals with ease.
A private twin or double room overlooking the Indian Ocean is available to book, as are single beds in four and six person dormitories. Female only dorms are also available.
Private bathrooms adjoin every room, equipped with a hairdryer. The rooms themselves have free wifi, air conditioning and a seating area to maximise comfort. Extras include a desk, a safety deposit box and a laptop safe.
Easy Surf Camp
Closest to the beach out of all our Kuta Surf Camps being just a minutes walk away, it’s no wonder this hostel is popular with surfers. Yet it remains close to the heart of the town, for those intrigued by Kuta’s lively nightlife! The airport is just 4km from Easy Surf Camp, keeping the property well connected and easily accessible.
A sun terrace allows guests to soak up the last of Kuta’s golden rays after a long day of surfing. Guests can unwind in the outdoor pool, or gorge on a delicious meal at the on site restaurant. Traditional and Italian cuisine are both served here.
Standard twin and double rooms are available for surfers travelling in a pair. Alternatively four bed mixed dormitories can be booked for individuals, larger groups or those on a budget. Bungalows with a garden view are also available with twin or double beds at a slightly higher price. Each room has a wardrobe, free wifi and private bathroom.
Cara Cara Inn
Competitively close to the beach is the Cara Cara Inn – just three minutes walk away! Kuta square is just 200m down the road, allowing guests to keep touch with Kuta’s vibrant town centre. Cash machines, restaurants and bars are all within reach, but the hostel itself provides frequent BBQs and evening entertainment.
Guests feel truly cared for here, with complimentary parking, a 24 hour desk, luggage storage and laundry facilities. Staff are more than happy to arrange motorbike hire or a shuttle to the airport.
Travellers are spoilt with the room choice at Cara’s. Pairs can opt for either a standard or deluxe twin room. Couples can stay in the hostel’s suite, which houses both a balcony and an extra-large double bed.
